Concrete swimming pools are considered to be the best method of pool construction. We at Bespoke swimming pools can design and construct both in-ground and above-ground concrete reinforced swimming pools to suit all price budgets. After excavation, a reinforcing steel mesh is laid on the base of the pool area and then concreted over with steel bars of the reinforcing left exposed ready to be laid within the wall construction.

How to build a concrete swimming Pool, properly

Most concrete pools are constructed from ‘hollow’ blocks that are then filled with a concrete mix within the hollows to form a solid wall. Bespoke swimming pools are the only swimming pool company to fix 12mm reinforcing steel bars both horizontally and vertically within the block walling to form an unbreakable structure capable of with standing the stresses of 100+ tons of water.

Some swimming pools require the structure to be built of two skins of smaller concrete blocks forming a cavity that is then filled with steel and concrete. In both cases the inside of the pool will then be finished with water proof rendering and mosaic tiling.
